About Us

Our Story

The Taiji Institute has the most comprehensive curriculum of traditional Chen style Taiji Quan (Tai Chi Chuan) outside of where it was cultivated for hundreds of years, China. We teach students the two basic forms with application and philosophy intact, weapons, strength training, Push Hands, the opportunity to travel to China to train, as well as forms for domestic and international competitions.

​No matter your walk of life, you are invited to join us. Whichever training you have participated in, past or present. Learning the internal workings of your body will assist athletes and non-athletes to amplify their current state up to 75%-100% of present ability. As well as a calm focus to keep the mind fluid in any pressured scenario.
